Managing labor on the shop floor just got a bit easier with the recent release of Order Stretching on the Production Calendar. Order Stretching allows production managers to allocate labor required for large work orders over several days to better reflect the realities on the shop floor.  Using Order Stretching is as easy as setting the Production Start and Production End dates when an order comes into the shop. Once this is completed, total production time for the order will be allocated evenly across each day—for example, an order with twelve hours of labor stretched across four production days will allocate three hours of labor each day.
